We process personal data exclusively within the framework of the GDPR and the German Federal Data Protection Act. This website addresses commercial buyers; we collect only data required for business communication.

When the website is accessed, technically necessary data is processed (shortened IP address, date and time, page requested, referrer, browser type, operating system).

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure, stable operation). Log data is deleted after 30 days at the latest.

We process name, company, role, e-mail, telephone, country, channel, your message and any uploaded files (e.g. specifications, assortment lists).

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contractual and contractual measures) and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (handling business enquiries).

Enquiry data is stored for the duration of processing and thereafter in line with commercial and tax retention periods (6 or 10 years).

Data is passed to third parties only where required to perform a contract (e.g. manufacturers, freight forwarders, customs agents) or where we are legally obliged to do so.

For hosting, database and file storage we use carefully selected providers under data processing agreements pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. Processing takes place within the EU or on the basis of EU standard contractual clauses.

We use strictly necessary cookies only. There is no advertising tracking and no profiling.

You have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object (Art. 21 GDPR).

You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, for example the Hamburg Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.

The website is delivered over TLS encryption. Uploaded files are stored in non-public storage and are accessible only to authorised staff.
